Calibration is extremely important when ensuring your pH tester gives accurate measurements. The ETI pH Pal Plus incorporates a re-calibration feature. This means it automatically re-calibrates itself at the touch of a button when used .

It's important to maintain your pH meter. The pH electrode (measuring part of the instrument) should always be washed in clean water and should NOT be touched unless using a damp tissue or cloth for cleaning - use extreme care.

Another important factor to consider is storage. The pH meter electrode should be kept moist, either in a storage solution or a pH 4 solution. If it dries out, the performance of the pH meter would be affected and its warranty is invalidated.
